ace

Join your team.

A teammate invited you to their Ace team. Three steps: get on their tailnet, install Ace, then open the invite. Ace checks it before it saves anything.

STEP 1Get on the tailnet.

A team is a tailnet: the people on it are your team. Ask whoever invited you to add you to their tailnet, accept the email from Tailscale, then install Tailscale and sign in.

Start Tailscale before Ace if you can. If Ace is already open, Ace Helper restarts itself once Tailscale is up.

If your team’s directory runs on a Mac on the tailnet, that’s all: once you install Ace, your Mac finds the directory and joins it on its own. You only need the invite below for a directory your team deployed.

STEP 2Install Ace.

For Apple silicon Macs on macOS 15 or later. Open the disk image, drag Ace into Applications, and open it once.

This link has no invite in it. Ask your teammate to copy a new one from Settings → Team → Invite… in their Ace, and to send the whole link.
